1. Features of the instrument 1. Chrome-plated column---long service life, easy to change the position of the beam. 2. Infinitely adjustable beam---crosshead vertically adjustable infinite resolution. A torque wrench that holds the backlash in the beam position is free to tighten the bolts or hydraulic fail-safe locks. 3. Beam hydraulic control---The positioning of the beam friction with the clamp hydraulic bolt is a standard configuration of all models. A beam motion control panel, using simple controls you unlock, raise or lower and lock the beam. The design ensures that the hydraulic power is suddenly cut off without any harmful beam motion. 4. Extremely Precise Alignment---Concentric circles of actuator and load rod cells within 0.0015' @ 15' and .002in/ft thereafter. 5. Displacement sensor---The actuator has a common axial mount on the piston rod of the LVDT. The spinner is protected by a closed metal cabinet with an external RVDT. This design ensures accurate displacement signals from both the sensor and the control system. 6. Extremely strong construction --- No intermediate threaded joints or compression joints are used and the load is transferred to the beam, directly under test. 7. Simplified maintenance --- The entire load train is included in the base assembly, and simplified maintenance is arranged for convenience. 7. Instrument options 1. Hydraulic beam lock---Hydraulically operated beam lock is available on all models. 2. Vibration isolation mounts---Vibration or dynamic testing can generate unwanted noise and vibrations that can be transmitted to the laboratory floor. Isolation pads under load cells help reduce noise and vibration dampening. 3. Safety Enclosure---A safety enclosure can be installed around the test area to protect the operator during destructive testing. 4. Actuator selection---different displacement and valve actuators are available, as well as power ratings for customers. Service Manifolds, Servo Valves and Hydraulic Power Supplies are selected on the basis of medium size and application. 5.
