How to use the thermal resistance and moisture resistance tester

Before starting the machine, check whether the water level of the constant temperature and humidity water tank indicates that there is enough water. If there is no water, please add water first. Otherwise, even if it is turned on, the constant temperature and humidity tester will not work. How to add water: Open the front door, unscrew the stainless steel cover on the left, take the accessory funnel, and pour in distilled water to provide microclimate humidity adjustment. Fill the water between the water level indicator lines. After turning on the power, the setting panel is displayed for designing the temperature and humidity of the climate chamber. During the thermal resistance test, the temperature of the climate chamber is 20°C and the humidity is 65%. During the humidity test, the temperature of the climate chamber is 35°C and the humidity is 40%. 1. The order of thermal resistance test is: cold machine preheating——Thermal resistance parameter setting——Thermal resistance empty board test——Thermal resistance test cold machine preheating: After the power is turned on, the whole machine needs to be preheated for 45 minutes, and a piece of medium-thickness fabric is added to the test board. When the test board reaches 35 degrees Celsius, take out the fabric. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2, complete the preheating of the cold machine, and then put the test sample (or standard sample) into the test bench. Thermal resistance parameter setting: set according to standard requirements. Thermal Resistance Empty Plate Test: Measure the thermal resistance under a temperature gradient without placing the test sample. The empty board test does not have to be done every time. Since the repetition error of the empty board test is quite small, it is recommended to test once every 3-6 months. Thermal resistance test: put the sample to be tested on the surface of the test board, adjust the lift button at the front end of the test bench inside the test chamber, cover the four sides of the metal pressing edge, when the metal pressing edge is in the horizontal position, then put down the plexiglass cover, cover Instrument door, press the start button, the instrument runs automatically. When stable, press the stop button, the instrument will keep displaying the thermal resistance value as the test result. Replace the sample and repeat the previous steps for the test. Finally, take the mean value for evaluation. The result retains 3 significant digits. 2. The order of the moisture resistance test is: preheating of the cold machine——Wet resistance parameter setting——Humidification and hydration and test film placement——Moisture resistance empty board test——Preheating of the cold machine for moisture resistance test: After the power is turned on, the whole machine needs to be preheated for about 60 minutes, and a piece of medium-thickness fabric is added to the test board. When the test board reaches 35 degrees Celsius, take out the fabric. Then observe the temperature of the heating plate and the bottom plate to about 35.2, complete the preheating of the cold machine, and then put the test sample (or standard sample) into the test bench. Except for humidifying water and film placement, the test of moisture resistance is similar to that of thermal resistance, which will not be repeated here. Humidification and water supply: Press the humidity resistance button on the control panel, loosen the waterproof joint of the adjustment rod a little, the water inside the water supply tank will automatically flow into the test box, observe the water level indicator on the right side of the test bench and the surface of the porous plate of the test body, and touch the surface of the porous plate with your hand , When water comes out, stop the water level adjustment rod and pull up, and tighten the waterproof joint. Take two films, the elastic side is used for testing, and flatten it on the surface of the porous plate. Distilled water can be appropriately added between the two films to wet. Use the cotton pad in the attachment to smooth the membrane and remove the air bubbles between the membrane and the multi-well plate.
