Analysis of color fastness to dry and wet rubbing of fur

Electric rubbing color fastness tester is suitable for testing the color fastness to dry and wet rubbing of all kinds of dyed fur, and measuring the color fastness to dry and wet rubbing of fur. Test principle: Under the specified pressure, rub the dyed fur quilt with a dry cloth or a wet cloth, and evaluate the staining of the rubbing cloth with a gray sample card for assessing staining, so as to judge the color fastness of the dyed fur to dry and wet rubbing. Test the length of the center of the whole fur, the length of the friction part, the large fur is 270mm, the medium fur is 210mm, and the small fur is 150mm. Applicable standards: GB/T3920, ASTMF1319, AATCC8/165, BS1006D02, ISO105D02/X12, JISL0849, M&SC8/C8A, NEXTTM6. Main parameters: 1. Diameter of friction head: 16mm±0.1 or 25mm±0.1; 2. Friction stroke: 104/100mm (adjustable); 3. Vertical pressure: 9N±10% (AATCC standard); 4. Running speed of friction head: 104±3mm/min (AATCC standard); 5. Number of reciprocating movements in one test: 10 times; 6. Friction speed: 60±1rpm/min; 7. Standard friction white cloth: 50×50mm, desizing, bleached, cotton fabric without optical brighteners and finishes. Test steps: Method 1. Dry friction 1. Place the sample flat on the tribometer covered with sandpaper, make the length direction of the sample consistent with the movement direction of the instrument, and fix the sample on the pressure plate, and the sample should be flat. 2. Fix the standard friction small white cloth on the friction head, clamp it with a spring clip, and put the friction head lightly on the sample; 3. Make sure that the sample does not slide or wrinkle during friction; 4. Place the friction head on the sample. on the sample. Turn on the power and turn on the POWER key. Set the number of tests. 5. Press the START button to start the test. When the number of tests reaches the set value, the instrument stops automatically. 6. Take off the standard rubbing white cotton cloth, and use the color chart for comparison and rating. Method 2. Wet rubbing 1. Completely soak the standard rubbing white cloth in distilled water; 2. After taking it out, squeeze it into the filter paper to make it have a certain water content; 3. The rest of the steps are the same as the above dry rubbing test steps; Result Handling: 1. Before grading, lightly stick and rub the loose fluff on the white cloth with clear glue. 2. Use three layers of unused rubbing white cloth under the rubbing white cloth to be assessed, and evaluate the staining grade of the rubbing white cloth with reference to the standard staining gray card.

Water Resistance Testing Standards and Methods
Textile water resistance testing evaluates fabrics through three primary methods: hydrostatic pressure (measuring water penetration resistance), spray rating (assessing surface water repellency), and water repellency tests (quantifying water absorption). Hydrostatic pressure testing is critical for high-performance applications like outdoor apparel and diving gear, while spray rating evaluates surface staining for rainwear. Water repellency tests, such as the Bundesmann method, determine overall
