Analysis of the detection method of leather wear resistance

my country is a big leather producing country, and the market for leather is huge. Therefore, there are many domestic leather enterprises. Different countries have different standard requirements for the physical and chemical properties of leather. Especially for export enterprises, there are more standards that need to be tested. This article ( Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. analyzes the abrasion resistance of leather frequently tested, and briefly introduces its experimental method. Execution standard This machine complies with DIN-53754, 53799, 53109, TAPPI-T476, ASTM-D3884, ISO5470-1, GB/T5478-2008 and other standards. Test operation method 1. Prepare the grinding wheel required for the material of the test piece before the test (Wearing wheel), the grinding wheel used for the dough is (rubber grinding wheel). The customer also prepares several pieces of fine sandpaper for grinding wheel calibration One side is pasted on the back of the test piece. After removing the sticker on the other side, weigh the test piece and record it with four digits below the decimal point. 3. Confirm that the power supply voltage is AC220V, 50HZ. 4. Lift the test lever arm, and then turn on the power First run a trial operation to check whether the machine is running normally, then lift up the test arm and vacuum arm, remove the test piece fixing nut and“Gasket (ring)”, use a wrench to loosen the fixing screw of the fixing ring and pick up the fixing ring. 5. Cut the prepared fine sandpaper into a model of the test piece, place the center hole on the screw, put the gasket on, fix the nut with the test piece, and fix the fine sandpaper on the disc. 6. Put the fixing ring on, flatten the sandpaper, and tighten the fixing ring and fixing nut with a wrench. 7. Select the grinding wheel according to the test standard and loosen the fixing nut of the grinding wheel. Tighten to fix. 8. Place the required weight on the counterweight according to the test standard (the weight placed on this testing machine is 750g) 9. Set the number of test rotations to 50 times (you can set the test rotation according to the different needs of the test. number), put down the test arm and the vacuuming arm, turn on the power switch and the switch of the vacuum cleaner, adjust the air volume, and turn on the motor switch to start operation. The unit of the test result is expressed by the wear index, and its calculation method is as follows: wear loss weight (W0) = test piece weight before the test (W1) - test piece weight after the test (W2) Wear index (T) = Wear loss weight (W0) / number of test revolutions (N)×1000 B. Example: The weight of the test piece (including the double-sided tape) before the test piece is worn is 45.3953g×1000=45395.3mg The weight of the test piece after abrasion (including the weight of the surface tape) is 45.3185g×1000=45318.5mg Abrasion times=1000 times The abrasion index=(45395.3-45318.5)/1000*1000=76.8(mg)
