Experimental method for electrostatic test between panel and touch screen

Static electricity has always been a concern of the semiconductor and panel industries. Due to its electrostatic discharge and adsorption, it will cause component damage and affect the yield of production products. Taking the panel industry as an example, the glass panel is continuously rubbed, moved, adsorbed, pressurized, separated, heated, cooled, etc. during the manufacturing process to continuously generate static electricity, and electrostatic discharge will occur under certain circumstances. Due to the large size of the panel, high integration, uneven distribution of static electricity, narrow test space and long test distance, it is difficult for the traditional handheld electrostatic field tester to measure the accurate electrostatic voltage value, which cannot meet the detection requirements of the current panel process. Therefore, American Wayne has introduced a brand-new on-line electrostatic testing equipment from Japan's Hanwa company (as shown in Figure 1). , Functional testing solutions. We can use the information generated by this new system to analyze whether the grounding of the machine is good in the process, whether the anti-static effect of the roller and thimble is as expected, and whether the installation position, angle and height of the ion bar are appropriate to determine the various anti-static measures adopted.
