How should the textile instrument industry respond to excess production capacity?

In recent years, various small clothing workshops have begun to close down. Small clothing processing in some areas of Hangzhou has experienced a large number of losses and closures. At present, the number of clothing processing enterprises in the village has been reduced from 900 to 500: A piece of clothing makes 15 yuan, half of which is profit. Now it makes a maximum of 8 yuan, excluding rent, water, electricity, and labor, and there is almost no profit. Some factories have only one or two orders a week, making dozens of pieces of clothes, and they can keep it going. It's too difficult.' In the past few years, there were many small workshops for processing imported materials. Among them, Pengbu Wubao, Qibao and other villages quickly gathered more than 1,600 processing sites due to low rents and convenient transportation. At the same time, the number of clothing companies in Hangzhou has also soared from 1,400 in 2005 to 2,400 in 2010; the number of clothing employees has increased from 140,000 to more than 300,000 in 2010. A farmer’s house, 10 sewing machines, and no more than 20 garment workers. The Hangzhou garment processing model started in the late 1980s, and the products were mainly exported. Around 2000, with the continuous expansion of the Hangzhou Sijiqing wholesale market, 'Hangpai Apparel' quickly occupied the domestic market, and 'low and small' processing workshops also flourished. At that time, the clothing processing threshold was low, the investment was small, and the profit was relatively high. In just five years, a large amount of resources poured into Wubao and Qibao, which more than doubled the output of clothing. However, the market demand is limited. Around 2012, affected by the global economic downturn and changes in e-commerce models, clothing orders began to decline year by year, and workshops were the first to bear the brunt. A set of data also shows that the traditional clothing industry is experiencing a cold winter: in 2014, the sales output value of clothing enterprises above designated size in Hangzhou was 28.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.35%, the first negative growth. In 2015, the sales output value of Hangzhou Guishang garment enterprises fell again by 0.77%. At the same time, according to statistics from the Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the total profit of apparel companies dropped by 39.65%, and there was a 24% loss. The extensive clothing manufacturing model has obviously not adapted to the requirements of green and efficient development, and the elimination of outdated production capacity has become a general trend. In Hangzhou, as the 'low, small, scattered' workshops gradually withdrew from competition, new garment processing clusters have emerged in Xiaoshan, Yuhang and other places. Different from the previous “fighting for each other”, the new cluster has advantages in resources, functions, services, and radiation effects, making it more suitable for SMEs to develop in groups. Promoting informatization design and intelligent production has become a long-term goal. The development trajectory of these industries is similar to the current textile instrument industry. The reshuffle period of the textile instrument industry has come. Since the economic downturn in 2014, the textile instrument industry has begun to have an inflection point, and the industry growth is weak. Textile instrument manufacturers have begun to close down and vicious price wars. In the early stage, due to the simple production process of irrespective textile instruments and the large market demand, this industry has become a public participation in the market. However, many small and medium-sized textile instrument manufacturers do not have deep understanding. The technology accumulation and research and development capabilities of the industry are okay when the industry is in a growth period. Once competition increases, it will be eliminated. From the life cycle of the small and medium-sized garment processing workshops above, we can find that in the reshuffle period of the textile instrument industry, this kind of enterprise without core competitiveness will inevitably disappear in the future competition, and then textile equipment will inevitably appear. During the elimination period of mergers and enterprises in the industry, how should the textile instrument industry face this reshuffle period? Here, the Standard Group believes that it needs to start from the following aspects: 1. It is important to improve service quality and maintain old customers; As a service industry, strive to provide high-quality services for customers to solve the problem. This is the basic work responsibilities and standards of textile instrument enterprises. The group has always been a high-standard industry service standard leading the market, and strives to strengthen the maintenance and problem handling of old customers. 2. Improve product quality and use market feedback to speak; Product quality is the foundation of an enterprise's market development. Good products can speak for themselves and spread word of mouth for customers. Therefore, the textile instrument industry must strictly control quality in the production of instruments. Control product quality to satisfy customers. 3. Improve Ru0026D and innovation capabilities; 21 is a world full of innovation capabilities. Innovation can make enterprises invincible. Therefore, textile instrument companies need to strengthen their innovation and Ru0026D capabilities to keep up with the changes and needs at this point. . 4. Strengthening marketing promotion and brand building Brand building is a priority strategy for an enterprise to stand out in market competition. The fundamental goal of textile instrument enterprise marketing is to build its own brand during the period, build brand trust, and maintain market stability. . Standard Group will briefly introduce the above points today. I believe there will be a lot of details and solutions for in-depth discussion and analysis. However, companies must establish this kind of service and innovation awareness to fundamentally change prices. Compete in this situation.
