Quality comparison and selection of anti-haze masks

When winter comes, every time the air pollution is severe, citizens will always use masks to block the smog when they go out. At present, there are many brands and types of anti-smog masks on the market, and it is often difficult to purchase. comparative test. 1 Sample situation and test items In this comparative test, 40 anti-smog masks were purchased from hypermarkets, e-commerce platforms and other channels, covering well-known brands such as 3M and Green Shield. Among them, there are 6 offline physical stores and 34 online e-commerce platforms; 37 disposable non-woven masks and 3 replaceable cotton masks; the price ranges from 0.95 to 19.47 yuan each. At present, there are many varieties of masks on the market, and their functions and occasions are different. This comparative test takes into account the needs of consumers for protective masks in the daily air pollution environment, referring to the 'National Basic Safety Technical Specification for Textile Products' and the latest GB/T 32610—The 2016 'Technical Specifications for Daily Protective Masks' and other relevant national standards test and compare the quality of anti-haze masks on the market, mainly focusing on product safety, breathing resistance and filtration efficiency, and conduct star evaluations. 2 Analysis of the test situation From the results of this comparative test, it can be seen that the safety of the randomly inspected masks meets the requirements of national standards; the ventilation performance is quite different; the filtration efficiency of the three samples is low; the price of the product is not necessarily proportional to the quality; the same brand There are obvious quality differences between different models. 2.1 The safety requirements are all passed the test because most of the masks are made of non-woven or cotton materials, and consumers directly contact the mouth and nose when wearing the masks. Aromatic amine dyes and other safety indicators are tested. The results showed that all 40 samples met the requirements of national standards. 2.2 The difference in air permeability (breathing resistance) is large. People will feel chest tightness and breathlessness when wearing masks, mainly because the breathing resistance of masks is large. In order to compare the breathability of the samples, the inspiratory and expiratory resistances were tested in this comparative test. The results showed that the respiratory resistance of the 40 samples all met the requirements of the relevant standards, but the test data were quite different. The expiratory resistance was the highest of 144.1 Pa and the lowest was 32.6 Pa, and the difference between the two was 111.5 Pa, which was about 3.5 times; 171.3 Pa, the lowest is 68.8 Pa, the difference between the two is 102.5 Pa nearly 1.5 times. Among them, 3 samples performed excellently, reaching five stars. The filtration efficiency is the core indicator of the performance of the anti-fog mask, which directly reflects the pros and cons of the protective effect of the mask. In this comparative test, the salt filtration efficiency and oil filtration efficiency of the samples were tested respectively. The salt test mainly tests the protective effect of the mask against fine particles such as dust, smoke, acid mist, spray paint mist and microorganisms, and the oil test mainly tests the protective effect of the mask against oil fume, oil mist, asphalt smoke, diesel engine exhaust, etc. The test results show that: the highest salt filtration efficiency of 40 samples is 99.6% and the lowest is 85.7%; the highest oil filtration efficiency is 94.6% and the lowest is 73.2%.
