According to statistics, in 2018, China's yarn and fabric exports to Vietnam and Bangladesh soared by 19.3% and 21.5% respectively.     Cao Jiachang said that the textile and apparel industry must fully understand the many difficulties faced by the current industry development. In 2018, China's textile and apparel exports to the three traditional markets of the European Union, the United States and Japan all maintained growth, with growth rates of 1.5%, 8% and 2.7% respectively. In addition, exports to countries along the “Belt and Road” have maintained growth for three consecutive years, with a growth rate of 5.3% in 2018, and exports to ASEAN by 11.7%, the fastest growth among major markets.     Cao Jiachang said that the textile and apparel industry should also focus on the integration of domestic and foreign trade.
