Analysis of test method for resistance to draw of cigarettes

Cigarettes are a common type of consumer product in daily life. The question of whether cigarettes are good or bad and whether they should be banned will not be discussed in this article. Scope: This standard specifies the method for determining the draw resistance of cigarettes. This standard applies to all kinds of cigarettes. Normative references: The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest edition of the following standards. GB/T5606.1-1996 Cigarette Sampling GB/T16447-1996 Tobacco and Tobacco Products Conditioning and Atmospheric Environment Determination Principle: Under standard conditions, when a steady airflow of 17.5mL/s flows through the cigarette sample When , the pressure difference between the two ends of the sample is the suction resistance of the sample. Instruments and equipment: 1. Instruments for measuring cigarette resistance should meet the following requirements:— Air flow: 17.5mL/s;— Probe: It can seal and measure the sample. During the measurement, the outlet end of the sample is inserted into the probe by 9mm, and there should be a layer of film in the test head. During the measurement, the film completely wraps the sample in the probe, and there should be no air between the wrapped part of the film and the sample;— Range->5kPa; resolution: 10Pa;— Measured value display accuracy: 1OPa, 2. A set of standard bars: The difference between the standard values ​​of two standard bars is not less than 1kPa; the accuracy (relative error) of the standard bars is 1%. Measurement steps: Adjust the sample according to GB/T 16447, and Tested under corresponding environmental conditions. 1. Turn on the power of the instrument and preheat to make it stable. 2. Connect the air circuit. 3. Use the high and low standard rods to calibrate the instrument respectively, so that the relative error between the displayed value of the instrument and the standard value of the standard rod does not exceed 1%. 4. Insert the outlet end of the sample into the probe of the instrument, and the insertion depth is 9mm , so that the film wraps the sample inside the probe tightly. 5. The resistance reading should be obtained within 2-3s after the sample is inserted into the instrument
