Analysis of the test experiment of color fastness to washing ISO105C06

Color fastness to washing ISO105C06 test method is suitable for testing the color fastness to washing of textiles used in conventional household or commercial washing processes. This test method does not reflect the effect of brighteners added in conventional commercial washing processes. Color fastness to washing test The instrument is an experimental instrument, and (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer. Customers in need are welcome to inquire.

Applicable standards:

ISO 105 C06: 1994, BS EN ISO 105C06: 1997

Sample preparation: Cut the sample and the multi-fiber cloth with a size of 40mm*100mm, and cut the sample and the multi-fiber cloth along a short side of the sample and the multi-fiber cloth. Multifiber fabrics are sewn together face to face.

Washing Color Fastness Tester Reagent preparation:

1. Configuration of lye required for A1S/A1M/B1S/B1M test: Dissolve 4g of washing powder in 1L of distilled or deionized water to configure the lye required for the test.

2. Configuration of lye solution required for A2S/B2S test: 4g ECE washing powder and 1g sodium perborate are dissolved in warm water not exceeding 60℃ 30 minutes before the test to configure the lye solution required for the test.

3. Configuration of lye required for C1S/C1M/D1S/D1M/E1S test: dissolve 4g of washing powder and about 1g of sodium carbonate in 1L of distilled or deionized water. The solution was then cooled to 20°C, and a PHMeter was used to measure whether the pH of the solution was 10.5±0.1, if not, adjust the pH of the lye to 10.5 with acetic acid and 0.1N sodium hydroxide solution±0.1, configured as the lye required for the test.

4. Configuration of lye required for C2S/D2S/E2S tests. 30 minutes before the test, heat the lye solution prepared in step 3 (but the water temperature should not exceed 60°C), and then dissolve 1g of sodium perborate in the solution to configure the lye solution required for the test.

5. The configuration of lye required for D3S/D3M test. Prepare 1L of lye solution according to step 3, and then add appropriate sodium hypochlorite solution or Clorox solution, so that the Cl content of the lye solution after the configuration is 0.015%, and it is configured to be the lye solution required for the wiping test.

Test procedure:

1. D2S/E2S test: adjust the test temperature of the washer to about 60°C, put the stainless steel cylinder containing 50ml of lye into the washer, turn it on for a few minutes, and make the temperature of the lye reach about 60°C. ℃, then put the sample, multi-fiber cloth and stainless steel ball into the stainless steel cylinder as required, adjust the test temperature of the washer to the temperature required for the test, and make the temperature of the water and lye in the tester within 10 minutes Internally heated to the temperature required for the test. Then set the washing time of the washing machine and start washing.

2. Other tests: adjust the test temperature of the washing machine according to the test requirements, put the stainless steel cylinder containing 50ml of lye into the washing machine, turn it on for a few minutes, make the temperature of the lye meet the test requirements, and then put the Put the sample, multi-fiber cloth and stainless steel ball into the stainless steel cylinder, then set the washing time of the washing machine, and start the washing.

3. After washing, take out the sample and the multi-fiber cloth and wash it twice in distilled or deionized water at 40°C.

4. Remove the excess water from the sample and the multi-fiber cloth, and then spread them out and dry them naturally at a temperature of no more than 60°C.

5. Under the standard light source, use a standard gray scale to grade the color change of the sample and the stain of the multi-fiber cloth respectively.

GESTER International Co.,Limited thinks that effective market design can improve liquidity, efficiency, and equity in markets.

During GESTER International Co.,Limited’s existence in a market we didn’t receive any negative feedback from our customers.

But we do think that reckoning with supply chains of textile testing equipment is a really important step. Even super simple switches in material, or sourcing, or shipping, or worker benefits seems like good place to start.

This is crucial when you need to maintain innovative information in textile testing equipment.

Color Fastness to Washing Testing Machine: Ensuring High-Quality Production
One crucial aspect of textile production is color fastness, which determines how well a fabric retains its color after exposure to washing or other forms of exposure. To ensure high-quality fabrics, manufacturers use color fastness to washing testing machines.
What we need to know about color fastness
Color fastness to washing is one of the common test items for textile dyeing fastness, which is mainly used to test the fastness of fabric clothing and home textile products after one or more times to simulate the dyeing after household washing and commercial washing.
Dry and Wet Rubbing Color Fastness Test Method
The wet and dry rubbing color fastness test is mainly used to test the color fastness of textiles. It is widely used in the textile industry. At present, the textile instrument industry has different types of wet and dry rubbing color fastness test instruments, and the common ones are electric dry and wet rubbing colors. Fastness tester and manual dry and wet rubbing color fastness tester, this paper mainly introduces the Electronic Crockmeter as an example.
What Are the Types of Color Fastness Testing for Fabrics?
Color fastness testing evaluates how well fabrics resist fading or bleeding under conditions like washing, rubbing, light exposure, and perspiration. Key tests include rubbing fastness, washing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, and sublimation fastness. These tests ensure textiles maintain color integrity, prevent health risks, and meet quality standards. Learn about different testing methods and equipment used in the textile industry.
ISO 17694 / ISO 5402-1: Footwear Flexing Resistance Test Methods
Footwear soles and uppers endure thousands of flex cycles during use, risking premature cracking, delamination, or chipping if material resistance is inadequate. This technical analysis details two critical international standards:

1. ISO 5402-1: Specifies the flexometer method for testing leather flex resistance under repeated bending.

2. ISO 17694: Defines test methods for footwear upper and lining flex resistance, simulating real-world bending stress to assess long-term durability.
