Mask tensile testing machine to test mask belt static tensile force and breaking strength

The mask tensile testing machine can complete the static tensile test and the breaking strength test of the ear-hook mask with different modes. The static tensile test is to apply a constant tensile force to the sample and keep it for a certain period of time to see if the connection between the mask strap and the mask body is broken. The breaking strength test is to place the sample between the upper and lower clamps, stretch the mask belt and the mask body at a test speed of 100mm/min until the breaking position, and measure the breaking force, expressed in N. 1. Mask belt static tensile test: Test material: 10 medical masks 1. Sample preparation: 4 masks were randomly selected, 2 of which were pretreated with temperature and humidity, and 2 were not pretreated. 2. Temperature and humidity pretreatment: according to GB/T 19083-2010 technical requirements for medical protective masks 5.3.2 temperature pretreatment conditions. Pretreatment method: Take out from the original packaging of the sample, and process according to the following conditions in sequence: a) In (38±2.5) °C and (85±5) Disposal in % relative humidity environment (24±1) h; b) at (70±3) in a dry environment (24±1) h; c) at (-30±3) in a dry environment (24±1) h. The sample temperature should be returned to room temperature for at least 4 hours before subsequent testing. 3. Determine the test speed: Adjust the distance between the test hook and the lower clamp, hang the mask strap vertically on the test hook, and clamp the mask body between the lower clamps.±5) Test speed of fracture within s. 4. Parameter setting: Start the mask tensile testing machine, select the mask belt static tensile test mode, and set several test parameters such as chuck spacing, test speed, return speed, set force value, and duration. 5. Place the sample: Hang the mask strap vertically on the test hook, and clamp the mask body between the lower clamps. 6. Test test: Start the instrument, start the test, end the test, and the screen displays the test result. 2. Test of breaking force of mask belt: Daily protective masks are tested by constant speed stretching method. Test material: 10 daily protective masks Test process: 1. Sample preparation: 5 masks were randomly selected and implemented according to GB/T 13773.2. 2. Temperature and humidity treatment: The test temperature is 20°C and the relative humidity is 65%. 3. Parameter setting: select the fracture force test mode, set the chuck spacing, test speed (100mm/min), and return speed several test parameters. 4. Place the sample: hang the mask strap vertically on the test hook, and clamp the mask body between the lower clamps. 5. Test test: Start the instrument, start the test, the test is over, the seam between the mask belt and the mask body is broken, and the screen displays the test result. Remove the tested sample and replace it with a new sample to continue testing until all samples are tested. When the test is over, press the Statistics key to display the statistical results, including the average value, maximum value, minimum value, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. After statistics, if you need to print the report, press Print to automatically print the test report.

What Are the ISTA Standard Tests and ISTA Testing Equipment?
ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) standard tests are globally recognized transportation packaging test procedures designed to evaluate the safety and reliability of products and their packaging throughout the logistics chain. By simulating real-world transportation conditions such as drops, vibration, impact, stacking, and compression, ISTA testing helps identify potential packaging weaknesses before products enter large-scale distribution. ISTA testing equipment—including drop testers, vibration testers, incline impact machines, and compression testers—plays a critical role in accurately reproducing these conditions under laboratory settings. Proper selection and use of ISTA-compliant equipment enable manufacturers to reduce transportation damage, lower return costs, enhance packaging design, and improve customer confidence in product quality and logistics safety.
