Precautions for using the salt spray test chamber

Improper preparation of the salt spray test chamber before use will cause great damage to the instrument and affect the test results. Therefore, when using the salt spray test box, pay attention to the following operations: 1. Add enough distilled water or deionized water to the heating water tank at the bottom of the salt spray test box studio to prevent the box from cracking and aging during heating. 2. An appropriate amount of distilled water or deionized water should be injected into the water sealing groove of the box body, and it should not be too full or too little. It is better that neither water nor salt spray overflows when the box cover is closed. 3. Inject distilled water or deionized water into the air saturator (stainless steel bucket), and turn on the air valve and the water filling valve of the saturator before filling the water. When the water level is 4/5 of the water level glass box, the water level reaches When delineating the water level, the vent valve must be closed, and the water filling valve of the saturator must be closed at the same time. Do a temporary test, the water vaporization of the saturator is consumed. When the water level drops to 2/5, the water should be replenished in time to avoid empty heating of the heating tube due to lack of water, and damage to the saturator and the external heating door element. 4. Check whether the water pipe between the water storage tank and the sprayer in the task room is firmly connected, and then inject the prepared salt solution (individually prepared at a concentration of 5%) into the water storage tank. 5. Check the fog discharge status of the fog discharge pipe at the rear of the salt spray test box; whether the air pipe is smooth and whether the outlet can lead to the sewer; whether the pipeline is blocked, so as not to affect the discharge of salt spray. 6. Set up the funnel outside the box and check whether the connection pipe between the funnel and the mist collector is smooth. 7. Check the connecting pipe between the gas source and the saturator, and whether the connecting pipe between the gas source and the sprayer is firm, so as to avoid gas overflow or lack of gas supply. 8. Open the lid of the salt spray test box, and place the sample accurately on the sample holder in the task room (with a distance of 10% from the surrounding inner wall), and keep an interval between the sample and the sample.
