Application
This method is designed to measure the water vapor permeability of textiles and evaluate the resistance of textiles and textile composites, especially those used in sportswear fabrics.
Principle
Under controlled temperature and humidity conditions, a sample is placed over a test plate filled with water. Over a set period, water vapor passes through a specific area of the sample. The permeated water vapor is then weighed to determine the water vapor transmission rate and the water vapor transmission index.
