The Ninth Member Congress of China Sewing Machinery Association and the First Council of the Ninth Council were held in Shanghai New International Convention Center recently. Chang Buzheng, deputy director of the Proposal Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the China National Light Industry Council, delivered an important speech. There are 251 members of China Sewing Machinery Association. Representatives of the units attended the meeting. Tian Minyu, chairman of the eighth council, made the 'Work Report of the Eighth Council of China Sewing Machinery Association'. The report was highly appraised by the delegates and passed unanimously. The meeting elected the leading body of the Ninth Council of the Association, and He Ye was elected as the chairman of the Ninth Council of China Sewing Machinery Association. He Ye said that the new council will work with everyone more confidently to promote the transformation of the industry’s economic development mode, promote the scientific development of the industry, continue to strengthen the association’s own construction, improve the service level of the association, and unite, progress, and flourish for the association.
