The Two Methods Of Circular Rubbing Colour Fastness Tester

Circular Rubbing Colour Fastness Tester is used for assess colored materials friction damage and surface color transfer. It is suitable test the upper materials, such as leather, plastics and fabric etc.

Colour Fastness To Rubbing Leather Test Principle 

Under constant pressure condition, rubbing can be carried out in dry or wet circle wool felt, the machine will stop when the preset rub count has bees reached. Fastness can be judged by the effect on the sample material or the transfer of color to the rubbing pad and assessed by reference to a standard gray scale.

Leather Rotation Rubbing Fastness Tester can choose two test methods:

Install the circular wool felt on the test turntable.

Rubbing Colour Fastness Tester Method 1: 

1. Place the round aluminum block directly under the test turntable,and place the sample on the surface of the aluminum block.

2. Turn the gripper to compress the sample,and pull down the handle on theright side to make the surface of the test turntable fit with the test sample.

3. Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch

4. Click [Shift] to set the number of tests, move the cursor with the left and right arrow keys,and add or subtract the number of tests with the up and down arrow keys.

5. After setting the number of tests, click [Shift] to confirm.

Click [Zero] to clear. Click [Start] to test.

6. When the set number of times is reached, the machine stops automatically,pull up the handle on the right, turn the gripper, take out the sample andobserve the test result.

Rubbing Colour Fastness Tester Method 2: 

1. Place the wool felt in the hole of the square metal plate, place the metal plate on the testplatform, and place the wool felt under the test turntable, and finally place the sample on the metal plate.

2. Turn the gripper to compress the sample,and pull down the handle on theright side to make the surface of the test turntable fit with the test sample.

3. Fix the standard weight above the shaft.

4. Click [Shift] to set the number of tests, move the cursor with the left and right arrow keys,and add or subtract the number of tests with the up and down arrow keys.

5. After setting the number of tests, click [Shift] to confirm.

6. When the set number of times is reached, the machine stops automatically,pull up the handle on the right,turn the gripper, take out the sample andobserve the test result.
