What to do if the 'heart' of the bag filter is damaged1

The filter bag is the core filter component of the bag filter, which can be said to be the heart of the bag filter, and its cost accounts for about 10% to 15% of the equipment cost. The filter bag material used to make the filter bag directly determines the performance parameters of the bag filter, such as the specifications of the dust removal equipment, dust removal efficiency, emission concentration, operating resistance, service life and other indicators. The filter bag plays a decisive role in the use effect of the bag filter. In particular, the high temperature filter bag occupies a large proportion of the value of the entire dust collector. Protect the filter bag and prevent the filter bag from being damaged due to various reasons. On the one hand, it can ensure the filtering effect and meet the emission concentration; on the other hand, it can reduce the economic loss, to ensure the stable operation of the entire equipment. The type of filter bag damage is mainly due to the wear and tear of the non-woven layer of the filter material, which is caused by the uneven distribution of air flow and the scouring of the surface of the filter bag by dust under high filtration wind speed; or because the filter bag is not installed properly, Cause friction between the filter bags and damage; or the injection pipe is not installed vertically, resulting in holes in the range of 30-40 cm of the mouth, and the filtering performance is lost. Specifically, the mouth of the filter bag is damaged, the body of the filter bag is damaged, the lower part of the filter bag is damaged, and the bottom of the filter bag is damaged. The specific reasons are as follows: 1. There is air leakage in the dust collector. Due to the air leakage phenomenon in the dust collector, a large amount of cold air from the outside is sucked into the dust collector, so that the local air temperature of the dust collector drops sharply, and the water in the air is analyzed. resulting in condensation. 2. The moisture content in the flue gas is too high. When the moisture content in the treated flue gas is too high and the supersaturated water is analyzed, condensation will occur. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in the kiln tail dust collector of the cement dry process line. Since the flue gas at the kiln end of the cement dry process line is generally cooled and tempered by a humidifying tower, when the amount of water sprayed is too large, it will cause the smoke in the flue gas. Condensation occurs when moisture is supersaturated. 3. When the flue gas temperature is too low, when the temperature of the flue gas treated by the dust collector is close to or lower than the dew point temperature, condensation will also occur. 4. Moisture enters the dust collector due to“Four-pipe burst”phenomenon, causing moisture to enter the dust collector, causing condensation on the surface of the filter bag and bag sticking. The production of the filter bag of the bag filter cannot really give full play to the performance of the filter bag only through the exquisite sewing technology. It is necessary to consider the filter bag itself when designing the structure of the bag filter and setting the operating parameters. With the characteristics of relatively small air permeability and surface filtration, corresponding measures can be taken to ensure the ideal operation effect of the entire bag filter system to the greatest extent. The damage of the filter bag in the actual application process is normal, but through careful analysis and summary, the filter bag is damaged more due to the above reasons. Improvements in the installation, selection and maintenance of the filter bags in the future can avoid such phenomena. Give full play to the high efficiency and economy of the bag filter of the bag filter. It is a great responsibility to protect the environment. We hope that our researchers will research and develop new and more filter materials that can adapt to complex environments and cope with various working conditions. . 》》More bag filter

ISO 17694 / ISO 5402-1: Footwear Flexing Resistance Test Methods
Footwear soles and uppers endure thousands of flex cycles during use, risking premature cracking, delamination, or chipping if material resistance is inadequate. This technical analysis details two critical international standards:

1. ISO 5402-1: Specifies the flexometer method for testing leather flex resistance under repeated bending.

2. ISO 17694: Defines test methods for footwear upper and lining flex resistance, simulating real-world bending stress to assess long-term durability.

What Are the Test Methods for Fabric Bursting Strength?
Fabric bursting strength measures resistance to rupture under concentrated load. Three primary test methods are used:

Ball Burst Method (ASTM D3787): Steel ball penetration for textiles/films using testers like GT-C02-2.

Hydraulic Method (ISO 13938.1): Fluid pressure on rubber diaphragm for industrial fabrics via GT-C12A.

Pneumatic Method (ISO 13938.2): Compressed air for breathable materials tested with GT-C12B.
Results are influenced by raw materials, yarn properties,

What Are the Types of Color Fastness Testing for Fabrics?
Color fastness testing evaluates how well fabrics resist fading or bleeding under conditions like washing, rubbing, light exposure, and perspiration. Key tests include rubbing fastness, washing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, and sublimation fastness. These tests ensure textiles maintain color integrity, prevent health risks, and meet quality standards. Learn about different testing methods and equipment used in the textile industry.
Water Resistance Testing Standards and Methods
Textile water resistance testing evaluates fabrics through three primary methods: hydrostatic pressure (measuring water penetration resistance), spray rating (assessing surface water repellency), and water repellency tests (quantifying water absorption). Hydrostatic pressure testing is critical for high-performance applications like outdoor apparel and diving gear, while spray rating evaluates surface staining for rainwear. Water repellency tests, such as the Bundesmann method, determine overall
