Application
The Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester GT-C13B offers a new and upgraded design, driven by a dual servo system. Its motion is based on a precise Lissajous trajectory, generated by advanced digital algorithms. The operation is highly accurate, featuring a fully automatic one-click calibration system.

Equipped with six versatile test modes—abrasion 60×60, pilling 24×24, 60-X, 60-Y, 24-X, and 24-Y—the system seamlessly switches modes with a single click, eliminating the need for additional hardware adjustments. This machine is ideal for evaluating the abrasion and pilling resistance of various textile structures. During testing, samples are subjected to low-pressure rubbing against specific abradents with continuously changing directions, and their performance is compared against standardized benchmarks.
