Textile Physical Properties Test Analysis

The production and production process of textiles are relatively complex. The clothing that people wear on their bodies actually undergoes countless processes before they are transformed from cotton or yarn into fabric products. Among them, there are hundreds of testing categories for textiles and clothing. For example, textile testing includes shrinkage, fading, water permeability, thermal insulation and other testing items. (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of textile testing equipment, which can provide testing equipment for various textile performance testing. Customers in need are welcome to inquire. Hydrostatic pressure: The outdoor fabric industry is accustomed to call water pressure resistance. The unit is expressed in mmH2o, which refers to the strength of water pressure per unit area. Under standard laboratory conditions, the fabric is subjected to the pressure of distilled water sprayed upward, and the water pressure value is recorded, such as water resistance. The pressure is 5000mmH2o, that is, the unit area can withstand 5m pressure without leakage. The water pressure resistance test is divided into two methods: before washing and after washing: 1. Pre-washing test: domestic outdoor brands generally test the water pressure resistance value before washing, but not after washing. About 1000-3000mmH2o; 2. Test after washing: foreign famous outdoor brands generally test the water pressure after 5 times of washing, and some even use the method of measuring the water pressure after 20 times of washing. The value drops very greatly. This test method is that any coating factory or film lamination factory must use better materials. For example, the water pressure resistance of coated fabrics requires 5000mmh2o after 5 washings, then at least 7000-8000mmh2o before washing. . The hydrostatic pressure resistance tester is used to measure the water resistance of medical protective clothing and tight fabrics, such as canvas, tarpaulin, tarpaulin, tent cloth, rainproof clothing cloth and other materials. Applicable standards: GB 19082-2009 Technical Requirements for Medical Disposable Protective Clothing Degree: Air permeability means the performance of air permeating through the fabric. Under the specified differential pressure conditions, measure the air flow rate vertically passing through a given area of the sample within a certain period of time, and calculate the air permeability. The airflow rate can be measured directly, or it can be converted by measuring the pressure cars on both sides of the flow aperture. The digital fabric air permeability meter is used to test the air permeability of non-woven fabrics, protective clothing, meltblown fabrics, special industrial fabrics, general fabrics, sponges, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, non-woven fabrics and industrial filter paper. Applicable standards: GB/T 5453, ISO9237, AFNOR G07-111, ASTM 737, BS 5636, JIS L 1096-A, DIN 53887, etc. Main parameters: 1. Pressure range: 1~4000Pa; 2. Measurable air permeability: 1 ~40000mm/s; 3. Measurement error:≤±2%; 4. Measurable fabric thickness: customized according to the sample; 5. Suction volume adjustment: data feedback dynamic adjustment; 6. Sample area setting circle: sponge clamp; 7. Clamp size: 100mm*100mm. Moisture permeability: The moisture permeability is expressed in units of g/m2/24h, which means that under certain standard laboratory conditions, a specific humidity difference is formed on both sides of the sample, and the water vapor enters the dry side through the sample. The change of the weight of the moisture permeable cup over time can be used to obtain parameters such as the water vapor transmission rate of the sample. There are two test methods for moisture permeability: upright cup and inverted cup; Upright cup method: American standard ASTM E96 A, C, E; Japanese standard JIS L1099 A1; Inverted cup method: American standard ASTM-E96, Japanese standard test JIS L1099B1; This test uses pre-wash data! Both domestic outdoor practitioners and outdoor enthusiasts refer to moisture permeability as breathable and moisture-permeable, or directly call moisture-permeability as breathable. It is incorrect and imprecise to confuse these two terms. It is a concept that needs to be distinguished and properly understood. Anti-splashing water: In the standard laboratory, use distilled water to spray on the sample through the funnel, and compare the waterproof standard sample to score and grade; the commonly used test standards are American standard AATCC 22; European standard ISO 4920; There are three kinds of anti-splashing water: ordinary waterproof, Water-repellent outdoor fabrics are accustomed to be called super water-repellent and Teflon waterproof; 1. Ordinary waterproof: the surface of the clothes is not waterproof after washing a few times. Generally, ordinary waterproofing is enough for outdoor leisure. Mountains, the weather on the mountain is fickle, and it may rain at any time. Ordinary waterproof clothes are not waterproof after washing several times, which will cause the surface of the clothes to be wet, and the body will increase the load on the body. 2. Super water-repellent: The carbon 6 produced by Daikin in Japan is waterproof, and the effect is maintained at 80 points (European standard level 3) after 20 washes; the previous carbon 8 waterproof, after 30 washes, can reach 80 points, due to the fluorine content Does not meet EU standards and is now banned by the EU. 3. Teflon waterproof: It is produced by DuPont in the United States and has a very high reputation. It has three anti-fouling effects such as waterproof, anti-fouling and oil-proof. The water repellent effect is not as good as that of carbon 8 and carbon 6.
