    Application
    This tester is specifically developed to measure the abrasion resistance of sole leather used in footwear manufacturing. By replicating the wear patterns experienced in actual use, it provides critical insights into the material's longevity and performance.

    Testing Principle
    The abrasion resistance is determined through a controlled process:

    Specimen Setup: Two square test specimens are placed in contact with a standard abradent.
    Abrasion Simulation: The specimens are subjected to a backward and forward movement over the abradent under a fixed force.
    Dust Management: A suction system removes dust generated during testing to maintain consistency in the abrasive action.
    Data Collection: The abradent is continuously fed under the specimen, and the average rate of thickness reduction per thousand cycles is calculated, excluding the final 1.0 mm of the material.
