Test principle and precautions of fabric hydrostatic pressure tester

The fabric hydrostatic pressure tester test device is composed of stainless steel materials, and provides a horizontal test platform. There is a 100cm2 test groove on the platform. The outer circumference of the test groove has a rubber O-ring seal, and the pressure sensor is installed in the test hole. There is also a leveling bubble on the platform, which can control the levelness of the platform by rotating the feet. Above the platform is a fixing frame, which can make the cloth pressing triangular cover fit the test groove, and the inner diameter area of the pressing cloth triangular cover is 100cm2. The cloth pressing triangular cover is driven by the rotating handle and can move up and down to place and clamp the cloth sample for testing. Below the platform is the hydrostatic supply part, which is composed of a water storage tank, an electromagnetic pump, a conduit, a water level inspection, a water discharge valve, and a calibration interface. The structure diagram of the test device is as follows: Main parameters: 1. Test pressure: 0-5000mbar; 2. Pressure accuracy:±1mbar; 3. Resolution: 0.1mbar; 4. Ascent rate: 1-300mbar/min; 5. Test area: 100cm2 (optional 10cm2, 19.63cm2, 26cm2, 28cm2); 6. Sample thickness: no more than 5mm; 7. Compressed air requirements: 6-8bar (clean and dry air). Test Principle: Apply an increasing (dynamic test) or consistent (static test) water pressure to the sample until water seeps out from three different locations on the sample. After testing at least 3 samples, measure and calculate the average maximum water pressure of the fabric (measured in mBar or cmH2O). This value is the water repellency of the sample. The specific method is that the sample is fixed on the test area of the standard area, and the air compressor adds 0-5bar air into a water tank filled with distilled water, and applies a certain pressure of water to the sample. It can be tested by two methods: dynamic or static: (1) Dynamic method: determine the hydrostatic resistance of the sample by testing the pressure when a fixed number of water droplets seep out from the side of the sample that is not in contact with water at a certain pressure increase rate pressure performance. (2) Static method: The hydrostatic pressure resistance performance of the material is determined by testing the water seepage of the sample after maintaining the pressure for a certain period of time under a certain hydrostatic pressure. Matters needing attention: 1. The sample should be placed horizontally without bulging; 2. The area above or below the fabric subjected to continuous rising water pressure is 100cm2; 3. During the test, the clamping device should not leak; 4. The sample is clamped There will be no slippage in the device; 5. Minimize the possibility of water seepage of the sample at the edge of the clamping device.
