Analysis of the detection test of the pilling tester by the circular trajectory method

The circular track method pilling testing-equipment' target='_blank'>tester uses linear guides as sliding gauges to test the pilling conditions of wool fabrics, chemical fiber pure cotton, blended, knitted and woven fabrics to identify product quality and process effects, (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Is the manufacturer, welcome to inquire. Test principle: Use nylon brushes and abrasives or single-use abrasives to rub and pill the fabric, and then compare the pilled samples with the standard photos under specified light conditions to evaluate the pilling grade. Main parameters: 1. The contact gap between the grinding head and the grinding table plane:≤0.2mm; 2. Parallelism of grinding head and grinding table:≤0.3mm; 3. Relative movement track of grinding head and grinding table: 40±1mm; 4. The nylon brush surface is flush, and its height difference: less than 0.5mm; 5. The reciprocating speed of the grinding table: 60±1 time/min; 6. Grinding head weight: 490cN±1%; 7. Heavy hammer weight: 290cN±1%; 8. Weight of small weight: 100cN±1%; 9. Choice of times: 1——9999. Pilling test: 1. Set the number of counters according to GB4802.1-97. 2. Take the sample and clamp it into the sample chuck correctly and firmly. 3. Lower the specimen chuck so that the specimen is in contact with the abrasive plane. 4. Press“RUN”key to make the instrument do the pilling work. 5. After the automatic shutdown, turn up the sample chuck, and take off the test sample for evaluation. Fluff test: 1. Take the sample and clamp it into the sample chuck correctly and firmly. Set the friction times for the counter according to GB/T4802.1-97. 2. Select the sample weight according to the regulations. If you need to increase the weight, you can tighten the required weight on the chuck shaft. 3. Put down the specimen chuck so that the specimen is in contact with the brush plane. 4. Press“RUN”key, the instrument can be rotated according to the set number of times, and the instrument can automatically stop when the set number is reached.

How to Find a Professional Safety Glove Testing Machine Manufacturer with CE Certification?
With the global PPE market’s rapid growth, choosing a professional CE-certified safety glove testing machine manufacturer is critical for data integrity and international compliance. This article explains why CE certification is non-negotiable (ensuring EU safety/quality standards), outlines essential test items (abrasion, cut, thermal protection per EN 388/EN 407), highlights core instruments (GESTER GT-KC28 TDM Cut Tester, GT-KC29 Cutting Tester, GT-C101 Heat Contact Machine), and details how to evaluate suppliers (20+ years of experience, partnerships with SGS/Bureau Veritas, ISO 9001 certification, after-sales support). It also covers the benefits of OEM/ODM capabilities for customized solutions. Ultimately, partnering with trusted manufacturers like GESTER ensures high-precision, compliant testing to protect workers and meet global market requirements.
What is a Light Fastness Tester?
A Light Fastness Tester accelerates material aging by simulating sunlight (xenon lamps) and moisture to predict long-term durability. Used in textiles, automotive, plastics, and more, it follows AATCC TM 16, ISO 105-B02, and ASTM standards. Features include real-time light control, temperature/humidity regulation, and energy-efficient testing.
What Are the Types of Color Fastness Testing for Fabrics?
Color fastness testing evaluates how well fabrics resist fading or bleeding under conditions like washing, rubbing, light exposure, and perspiration. Key tests include rubbing fastness, washing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, and sublimation fastness. These tests ensure textiles maintain color integrity, prevent health risks, and meet quality standards. Learn about different testing methods and equipment used in the textile industry.
What Are the ISTA Standard Tests and ISTA Testing Equipment?
ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) standard tests are globally recognized transportation packaging test procedures designed to evaluate the safety and reliability of products and their packaging throughout the logistics chain. By simulating real-world transportation conditions such as drops, vibration, impact, stacking, and compression, ISTA testing helps identify potential packaging weaknesses before products enter large-scale distribution. ISTA testing equipment—including drop testers, vibration testers, incline impact machines, and compression testers—plays a critical role in accurately reproducing these conditions under laboratory settings. Proper selection and use of ISTA-compliant equipment enable manufacturers to reduce transportation damage, lower return costs, enhance packaging design, and improve customer confidence in product quality and logistics safety.

Sweating Guarded Hotplate GT-C98 Guide: Find the Right Testing Machine for Your Needs
The Sweating Guarded Hotplate GT-C98 is a professional instrument designed to evaluate the thermal resistance (Rct) and water-vapor resistance (Ret) of textiles and related materials. By simulating human skin heat dissipation and sweating under controlled conditions, it provides accurate and repeatable data for comfort and protective performance analysis. This guide introduces the testing principle, applicable international standards, industry applications, and key technical features to help users identify the right testing machine for product development, quality control, and research.
Water Resistance Testing Standards and Methods
Textile water resistance testing evaluates fabrics through three primary methods: hydrostatic pressure (measuring water penetration resistance), spray rating (assessing surface water repellency), and water repellency tests (quantifying water absorption). Hydrostatic pressure testing is critical for high-performance applications like outdoor apparel and diving gear, while spray rating evaluates surface staining for rainwear. Water repellency tests, such as the Bundesmann method, determine overall
