Members interested in projects established by technical committees are entitled to participate in the committee. Official and unofficial international organizations that contact and work with ISO. ISO is in close contact with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by technical committees are passed to members for voting , More than 75% of the parties in favor are published as an International Standard. The International Standard ISO 105-C02 was formulated by ISO/TC 38 Textile Technical Committee. This fourth edition makes technical revisions to the third edition, cancels and replaces the third edition (ISO 105-C02:1987), ISO 105 has published 13“part”, set a letter for each part (eg:"Part A,’), published between 1978 and 1985. These“articles”Now published in a separate edition, all specifying“part”But still keep the original alphanumeric, ISO 105-A01 gives the full list. Scope This standard specifies the second test in the five color fastness test series, which has been designated as the test method for the color fastness to washing of colored textiles. The range of washing operations from mild to vigorous are included in this series of tests. Note: This method is only formulated to determine the effect of washing on the color fastness of textiles, and does not reflect the results of a comprehensive laundering operation. Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest edition of the following standards. GB 250-1995 Gray sample card for evaluating discoloration (idt ISO 105-A02:1993) GB 251-1995 Gray sample card for evaluating stain (idt ISO 105-A03: 1993) GB/T 6151-1997 Textile color fastness test General test rules (eqv ISO 105-A01:1994) GB 7564^-7568-87 Standard fabric specifications for color fastness testing of textiles (neq ISO 105-F: 1985) GB 11404-89 Textile color fastness testing Specification for interlining fabrics (neq ISO 105-F10:1989) Principle Textile samples are sewn with one or two pieces of specified interlining fabric, placed in soap solution, mechanically agitated under specified time and temperature conditions, and then rinsed ,dry. The discoloration of the sample and the staining of the backing fabric were assessed with a gray sample card. Sample 1. If the sample is a fabric, prepare the sample according to one of the following methods: a) Take a 40 mm × 100 mm sample, and connect the front side with a 40 mm × 100 mm multi-fiber backing fabric ((4.4.1) contact and sew along one short side (or as otherwise specified) to form a combined sample. b) Take a 40 mm × 100 mm sample and sandwich it between two 40 mm × 100 mm single fiber backing fabrics ((4.4 .2), sew along a short side (or as otherwise specified) to form a combined sample. 2. If the sample is yarn or loose fiber, take the yarn or loose fiber approximately equal to the total mass of the interlining fabric half, prepare the sample according to one of the following methods: a) sandwiched between a 40 mm x 100 mm multifiber backing fabric and a 40 mm x 100 mm non-dyeable fabric (4.4.3), along the four sides Suture (according to GB/T 6151-1997, 9.3.3.4) to form a combined sample. b) Clamped between two 40 mm X 100 mm specified single-fiber backing fabrics, and sewed along the four sides to form a combined sample. Operation procedure 1. Put the combined sample in the container, inject it and preheat it to 50℃±2'C required amount of soap solution ((4-3), make the bath ratio 50:to2, treat the combined sample at 50℃±2℃ for 45 min, 3, take out the combined sample, use cold tertiary water ((4- 6) Wash twice, then rinse in running cold water for 10 minutes to squeeze out the water. Expand the combined sample so that the sample and the backing are connected by only one suture (if necessary, disconnect all sutures), and hang on a Dry in the air above 60℃. 4. Use the gray sample card ((4.5) to evaluate the discoloration of the sample and the staining of the backing fabric. More about: Washing Color Fastness Tester
