Application
The Liquid Permeability Tester is designed to measure the rewet volume of sanitary materials.
Principle
The test involves placing the sample material on a standard absorption pad (comprising 10 layers of filter paper) and conducting three liquid penetration tests using a specified volume of simulated urine. Following the third penetration, a simulated baby weight (SBW) is placed on the sample and absorption pad to ensure even liquid distribution.
A pre-weighed blotter paper is then placed on the tested sample, and the SBW is repositioned on top.
The mass of liquid absorbed by the blotter is defined as the amount of reverse moisture.
