Analysis of test steps of automobile interior combustion tester

The car interior combustion testing-equipment' target='_blank'>tester adopts the horizontal direction burning performance test method, which is used to measure the relative burning rate and flame retardant performance of various textile fabrics, clothing, tents, especially automobile interior decoration fabrics. (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is the manufacturer, welcome Inquiries from customers in need. Applicable standards: GB 8410, ISO 3795, FMVSS 302, DIN 75200, SAE J369, ASTM D5132, JIS D 1201, AU 169. Main parameters: 1. Flame time: 0-999.9s±0.1s adjustable; 2. Delay time: 0-99h59m59.99s±0.1s; 3. Test wind speed: between 0.10m/s ~ 0.30m/s; 4. Test gas: liquefied gas or other combustible gas (such as natural gas, city gas) of 35MJ/m3~38MJ/m3. Test steps: 1. Adjust the test environment with a temperature of 10°C to 30°C and a relative humidity of 15% to 80%. 2. The sample is at least 20mm away from the frame, and the sample holder is installed on the top bracket of the combustion box to ensure that the sample is vertical. 3. Place the marking line horizontally in front of the sample pressing plate. The distance between the marking line and the surface of the sample is 1mm and 5mm respectively, and the marking line should maintain sufficient tension. 4. Light the gas lamp and adjust the flame height to 40mm±2mm, adjust the placement angle of the gas lamp, 30 degrees from the plane where the sample is located°angle. 5. The sample is ignited in the flame of the gas lamp for 5s, immediately extinguish the gas lamp and reset it. 6. If the sample does not burn, it is considered not ignited, and another pretreated sample needs to be re-tested, but the ignition time of the sample in the flame of the gas lamp is 15s. 7. If any one of the three samples in any group exceeds 50% of the minimum value, another group of samples in the same direction should be taken for the test again. If one or two specimens in any group of three specimens do not burn to the third marking line, take another group of three specimens in the same direction and perform the test again. 8. Measure the following times, in seconds (s): a) Time t1 from the start of ignition to burnout of the first marker line; b) Time t2 from the start of ignition to burnout of the second marker line; c) From the start of ignition It is time t3 when the flame burns the three-marked line. 9. Calculation For the sample whose combustion flame reaches at least the first marking line, the combustion speed (Vi) is calculated as follows: Vi=60×(Di/ti) where: Vi——Burning speed, in millimeters per minute (mm/min); i——The flame burns to the one/two/three mark lines, 1, 2, and 3; Di——The burning distance of the flame to the one/two/three mark line, the unit is millimeter (mm); ti——The burning time for the flame to burn the 1/2/3 marker line, the unit is seconds (s). The burning velocity of each sample shall be the larger value of V1, V2 and V3. The burning velocity of a group of samples shall be the test result of the burning velocity of three or more samples, and the calculation result shall be rounded to an integer.

In today's world, have risen to an unexpected level of tensile tester manufacturers. It has gained a lot of popularity and has come up with different kinds of variations in its content.

Water Resistance Testing Standards and Methods
Textile water resistance testing evaluates fabrics through three primary methods: hydrostatic pressure (measuring water penetration resistance), spray rating (assessing surface water repellency), and water repellency tests (quantifying water absorption). Hydrostatic pressure testing is critical for high-performance applications like outdoor apparel and diving gear, while spray rating evaluates surface staining for rainwear. Water repellency tests, such as the Bundesmann method, determine overall

What Are the ISTA Standard Tests and ISTA Testing Equipment?
ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) standard tests are globally recognized transportation packaging test procedures designed to evaluate the safety and reliability of products and their packaging throughout the logistics chain. By simulating real-world transportation conditions such as drops, vibration, impact, stacking, and compression, ISTA testing helps identify potential packaging weaknesses before products enter large-scale distribution. ISTA testing equipment—including drop testers, vibration testers, incline impact machines, and compression testers—plays a critical role in accurately reproducing these conditions under laboratory settings. Proper selection and use of ISTA-compliant equipment enable manufacturers to reduce transportation damage, lower return costs, enhance packaging design, and improve customer confidence in product quality and logistics safety.
