The application value of RTO in the treatment of organic waste gas in the pharmaceutical industry

In the process of the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the treatment of organic waste gas has received extensive attention. The traditional treatment methods can no longer meet its development requirements. It is necessary to scientifically apply RTO process technology to carry out related treatment work, apply the RTO method before washing, and then proceed to the next step. In the actual development of a pharmaceutical company, the maximum air volume of organic waste gas is 20100Nm3/h, and the concentration is about 2000mg/m3, which mainly includes: methanol organic waste gas, methylene chloride organic waste gas, isoacetone organic waste gas, etc., which seriously affect the local ecology The environment causes pollution problems that are difficult to solve. Therefore, it needs to be comprehensively governed and scientifically applied RTO methods to carry out related work. 1 Process selection and RTO principle In the process of selecting the process, because the waste gas is a gas with a small air volume and a moderate concentration, most of it is organic waste gas and contains acidic components. Therefore, RTO can be applied to waste gas treatment. The process flow is: Wash-RTO-wash. Dioxins are generated during RTO treatment, but they can be decomposed in an environment above 851°C. Therefore, in the process of designing the furnace, it is necessary to control its combustion temperature above 851℃, and the sustainable time is about 2s [1]. The operating principle of RTO is mainly as follows: establish a special thermal oxidation furnace to have a certain heat storage capacity, professionally treat organic waste gas, so that the organic waste gas can be decomposed in a high-temperature environment, and the decomposition rate can be controlled at 9%, so that The organic waste gas meets the relevant national environmental protection standards and is discharged into the air. In the process of applying the RTO method, it is necessary to set up two fixed forms of heat exchange media beds, which are made of ceramic materials with heat storage advantages to facilitate the development of organic waste gas treatment. After the organic waste gas passes through a ceramic media bed, it will be heated. In the case of heat exchange, the other media bed will also be heated, and the heat exchange rate can reach 96%. At the same time, in the process of applying the oxidation furnace equipment, it has a certain degree of self-sustaining ability, which can maintain the problem without any fuel and improve its work efficiency. 2 Analysis of the application value of RTO in the treatment of organic waste gas in the pharmaceutical industry In the process of treatment of organic waste gas in the pharmaceutical industry, it is necessary to scientifically apply the RTO method and treat it in accordance with relevant regulations to give full play to its application value. 2.1 The application value of the regenerative oxidation furnace In the process of applying this type of equipment, a regenerative bed and an automatic air inlet valve can be set in the system to perform a comprehensive switching process. In the process of making the equipment, the material used is ceramic heat storage material, which has certain advantages of acid and corrosion resistance, which can improve the heat effect, improve the heat recovery efficiency, and reduce the wind resistance. In practical applications, the crack resistance is better. High, long life, can reduce the cost of input in the pharmaceutical industry. The surface temperature of the heat storage equipment can be lower than the national standard, mainly because the inside of the equipment contains 20cm of high temperature resistant materials, which can avoid the contact between the organic waste gas and the steel structure. In addition, in the operation of the system, the material used to start the switching valve body is stainless steel, which can improve the stability of the switching operation, prolong the service life of the equipment, and avoid corrosion problems. Moreover, inside the equipment, some contact with the organic waste gas The parts have been coated with heat-resistant materials and anti-corrosion materials, which can effectively extend its service life, so as to facilitate related maintenance work and avoid falling off. Once it is found that the conservation soil layer has fallen off, it is necessary to carry out repair activities in time to avoid large-scale oxidation problems. 2.2 RTO advantages and classification. For RTO, its advantage is that organic waste gas can be treated by heating by thermal storage ceramics. Under the action of furnace combustion, the temperature in the furnace is increased, and the harmful substances in the organic waste gas are decomposed into carbon dioxide. Either steam, or colorless and odorless high-temperature flue gas, forming low-temperature heat storage ceramics, a large amount of heat energy is converted from flue gas to heat storage and extraction, and various heat media are exchanged. The cost of this type of operation is low, and the treatment efficiency of organic waste gas is high, and there will be no catalyst poisoning, and it can be used in the treatment of organic waste gas in the pharmaceutical industry. As far as classification is concerned, it can be divided into two systems: fixed and gate rotating. 2.3 RTO applicable conditions For RTO, it is mainly applicable to alcohol processing work and aromatics processing work. And the concentration of organic waste gas is less than about 25%.
